Striving for a better agricultural environment

Nothing beats that feeling when you see your green fields starting after all the plants start to sprout. With all this in mind, that is the reason why I started this business, why I strive to provide as much I can, as far as I can go, for the people around me, the fields, and nature. I strive to provide a top-grade, organic fertilizer that can give back to the environment, that will be my way of saying thank you for the privilege of being part of our world.

After completing high school, I went abroad to work as a farmer in North America. While working there, I saw the quality and nutrition of their grounds they fertilize with liquid fertilizer; and this was the start of my interest, in why and how it works.

I started researching the benefits of going green, and all the positive effects of how these worms and manure mixture can develop a top-grade organic compound, leading to a natural and healthy food source for plants and the agricultural environment.

The road was not easy, but with various trials and errors, late nights and early mornings, I finally produced a fertilizer with the correct mixture that creates a top-grade soil, rich in nutrients and living microbes and organisms; which can provide your depleted ground with the boost it needs for bigger and healthier crops than before; all while staying completely organic.

I have had a longing and interest in agriculture since a young boy, and it has been my passion for as long as I can remember; being outdoors, working on/with farms and the fresh smell every day after the fields has been worked; seeing your crops and hard work grow before your eyes; that is all I ever wanted. And with this product, I can share that wonderful experience with people around me. Seeing your end results come up, bigger, better and healthier than before using this mixture; that is what I aim to achieve.

After school I did my national service in the Parachute battalion and then joined the mining industry as a learner official. I worked in mining production for 20 years doing mining and construction. At the age of 44 I moved into project planning which I still do as a consultant.

Throughout my mining career I spent every moment I was not working in the bush or on the water sailing a catamaran, we bought a smallholding outside Rustenburg where we now live and started with a greenhouse tunnel producing our own vegetables, planted fruit trees, started my rose garden which I love, and small succulent garden. Farming with free range chickens, ducks, rabbits, and pigs for healthy meat.

We set up our solar system to be independent living off the grid. My wife grew up on a farm and we both want to produce our own healthy food as far as possible. Meeting Darren with his ideas of organic fertiliser just got me into overdrive with what it means to a healthier lifestyle, getting rid of all the chemicals in our food.

This has now become a passion with me as I can see only the benefits of a cleaner healthier environment with an organic fertiliser and solar systems for electricity.
